Spiritcraft and How It Came To Be
First and foremost Spiritcraft (and all related Spiritcraft modded servers) are private, whitelisted servers ran by me
(J_Dawgs). It is possible to get on the servers by attending streams, being active in the Spiritcraft "community", and by being
nice to other Spiritcraft members to make a good impression. All possible members MUST be a Patreon if at least $1.00 a
month to be eligible to get on to the Spiritcraft Servers.
Now, on to how Spiritcraft came to be and what we are all about. First, as most servers are started, the very first Spiritcraft world was started in February/March of 2013 after I had left a server I was previously on and had gotten tired of having good servers that were "vanilla" servers shut down or "go bad". So when I decided to create Spiritcraft I got several of my friends and family together and invited them all to the server. Friends were from in real life and from other servers I had previously been on. The basis behind Spiritcraft was that we were looking to have the basic "vanilla" game you would normally play in single player but as an online community where you could interact with others on the server, do events together, and have fun as an online family. Spiritcraft is currently on its second map after a reset in December of 2013 for a new world and all new content from updates. As stated earlier, Spiritcraft is a "mostly vanilla" server, which means we are not the basic pure vanilla type server as we do run Bukkit. Yet, the mods we run on Bukkit do not effect game play in any way, shape, or form. Current mods to the server are as follows: Coreprotect, mainly for rollbacks and checking chests to see the activity on them - and World Border, to set a limit to how far players can travel so we don't end up with huge world files (may be removed in the future as Minecraft has made this part of the game).
As said earlier we strive to treat each other as family and many of us are very close friends. We try to be nice to others but we will enforce all rules during streams and on the servers we have. If you would like to be a part of this community you can always come to streams and/or comment on video's and be active in the community. We keep an eye out for those who we think would be a good fit in our family. If you think there is anything that should be added here feel free to suggest it by sending me a message on the "Contact" page.
